Welcome to Russellville Innovation Academy (RIA)! We are thrilled to introduce you to our new and exciting educational venture, where we redefine learning to better prepare our students for the future.

 

At RIA, we believe in fostering an environment that encourages independent, project-based instruction. Our curriculum is designed to integrate core curricular areas and electives, allowing students to explore subjects in depth while making meaningful connections across different disciplines. This approach ensures that learning is both comprehensive and engaging, meeting the developmental needs of each student.

Our curriculum is tailored to provide differentiation and choice, ensuring that every student remains engaged and motivated. We are also proud to offer our 9th and 10th-grade students the opportunity to pursue their career goals through certifications at the Logan County Career and Technical Center, Russellville High School, and dual credit courses. This collaborative approach, supported by our dedicated teachers and counselors, allows students to gain valuable skills and experiences that are directly applicable to real-world challenges.

 

At RIA, we emphasize the importance of self-evaluation and reflection. Students use self-assessments and rubrics to monitor their progress, fostering a sense of responsibility and ownership over their learning journey. This empowers them to become self-directed learners and critical thinkers, ready to tackle the complexities of the modern world.
